The Charlton & Jenrick Go Eco Excel 5kW Wide Low Lintel Stove combines a reduced-height body created specifically for fireplace openings with a low lintel. Constructed from cast iron, steel, it is designed to provide durable real-fire performance with a clear view through its wide cast-iron door.
Heat output and fuel
Full multi-fuel capability is provided as standard through a static bar grate and corrosion-resistant ashpan. The stove burns dry wood logs or suitable smokeless mineral fuel and delivers 5kW nominal heat across an approximate 3.6-7.2kW wood-burning range, with 84.8% listed wood efficiency. The firebox accepts logs up to 350mm.
Design and operation
The room-sealed steel body is compatible with an optional external-air connection kit. Double slide controls allow primary and secondary air to be adjusted independently, while the 300mm-class body depth keeps the installation relatively slim.
Clean-burning performance
The stove is Ecodesign 2022 compliant, DEFRA exempt for burning wood in Smoke Control Areas and independently certified at clearSkies Level 5. An Airwash system helps keep the ceramic glass clear, while patented tertiary-air technology supports low-emission combustion.
Dimensions and installation
Overall appliance dimensions are 458mm wide x 495mm high x 360mm deep. The flue connection is top or rear (127mm / 5 inch). An appropriate site survey and professional installation are recommended.

We offer a nominated day delivery service on many of our products. Where this is selected, we will always do our best to meet your chosen date. For example, if you select a Tuesday delivery, we will typically dispatch your order on a next-day service the working day before.
However, once your order has left us and is with the courier, delivery is handled by a third-party network. While we work closely with our carriers, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused once the goods are in transit.
Deliveries are made on a kerbside basis only. This means the driver will unload the goods as close to your property as safely possible, but they are not insured to carry items into your home or unpack them.
Due to the nature of pallet deliveries, access must be suitable for large vehicles and pallet trucks. If you have any access restrictions, please let us know in advance.
Important: We strongly recommend that you do not book installers, fitters, or any other tradespeople until your goods have been delivered, as delays can occasionally occur.
